This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Oversee agents in a specific area of responsibility through in-person meetings, virtual interactions, phone calls, and email communications to foster relationships, provide training, and evaluate agency performance.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on GEICO and its affiliated products, features, and tools, while also maintaining a comprehensive understanding of competitor offerings to enhance the appeal of GEICO’s products.
• Convert national strategic initiatives into localized goals and objectives to boost agent engagement, execution, and growth.
• Facilitate effective communication; support agencies in crafting local marketing plans and strategies to achieve growth targets.
• Utilize data analysis to formulate pre-call strategies that target the most significant opportunities within the assigned area of responsibility and/or specific agency.
• Track agent performance against established goals, procedures, and guidelines.
• Provide training to agency staff on GEICO and GEICO-affiliated products, services, and value proposition.
• Advise agents and, with leadership support, undertake disciplinary actions, including termination when necessary.
• Identify, interview, and approve new appointments to enhance GEICO’s agency distribution network.
• Comply with the GEICO Code of Conduct, as well as company policies and operating principles.
• Must be capable of performing essential functions, with or without accommodation, which include, but are not limited to, seeing, hearing, typing, and speaking.
• Must be able to engage in both in-person and virtual meetings.
• Must possess the ability to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and demonstrate strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Must be able to absorb and apply a significant amount of technical and procedural information.
• Adherence to GEICO’s driving standards and/or policies is required.
• A valid driver’s license and auto insurance are necessary.
