This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Professional information dissemination, presentation, and marketing of the relevant AbbVie products to outpatient specialists and physicians in hospitals, in compliance with § 76 of the German Medicines Act (AMG).
• Implementation of the brand strategy.
• Market analysis based on available data, examining the regional market concerning the revenue development of our product and that of competitors, identifying potential and critical developments.
• Development, coordination, and execution of a territory plan within the in-field team.
• Competent customer management, meaning active support of physicians, pharmacists, and potentially health organizations.
• Conceptualization, organization, and execution of educational events as well as attendance at regional and national events.
• Formation and expansion of networks between hospitals, outpatient physicians, and other stakeholders that play a vital role in patient care.
• Collection of market information and customer insights; determining the customer's position in the sales cycle.
• Proactive communication with the regional manager.
• Professional reporting: timely and proper completion of all administrative tasks.
• Effective collaboration within the in-field team and beyond.
• Promotion of open communication and a constant exchange of experiences and ideas.
• Proactive and continuous commitment to addressing customer needs.
• Shared responsibility for achieving regional targets.
• Adherence to all applicable functional requirements as well as legal and regulatory obligations, including procedures and processes regarding ethics and compliance, as well as the "Principles of Business Conduct."
• Successfully completed scientific higher education, training as a pharmaceutical representative, or necessary expertise in accordance with §75 of the German Medicines Act.
• Basic knowledge of GxP.
• Experience collaborating within an in-field team and leading interdisciplinary projects in a matrix organization.
• Secure knowledge in the therapeutic area.
• Several years of field service experience in the pharmaceutical industry with demonstrably above-average sales success, ideally in the therapeutic area.
• Ability to present complex scientific relationships appropriately for the target group and engage in discussions with various customer groups.
• High persuasive power, as well as a presentation and closing strong personality with pronounced communication skills (Challenger methodology).
• Strong ability to continuously adapt to changing market conditions and to align one's work methodology innovatively and proactively.
• High motivation and energy to pursue and achieve goals.
• Excellent performance management for continuous optimization of sales target achievement.
• Strong digital competence and proficient use of field service programs (Veeva CRM and CLM, XPM, WebEx, etc.) as well as MS Office.
• High analytical skill combined with creativity.
