This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Efficiently oversee assigned territory accounts primarily located in Western New York.
• Assist the designated sales team in their initiatives to increase revenue.
• Identify, qualify, sell to, support, and nurture an account base.
• Offer both pre-sales and post-sales assistance.
• Execute sales and account management tasks to meet and surpass quotas.
• Facilitate customer account development training sessions.
• Locate and engage potential customers, develop proposals, and implement company sales strategies.
• Take part in customer trade shows.
• Perform competitive analysis and collect up-to-date market information regarding competitor pricing, products, new offerings, service levels, merchandising techniques, and more.
• Provide weekly sales reports or as necessary.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated direct sales experience, ideally within the building products sector.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the building products industry along with sales management experience in dealer, distribution, and/or two-step channels, depending on the brand.
• Strong problem-solving and sales negotiation abilities are essential.
• General awareness of major competitive brands.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in sales planning, budgeting, and T&E expense management.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry product samples and materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Willingness to travel to and navigate active construction sites and new residential areas.
• Regularly move throughout outdoor job sites as part of client engagement activities.
• Meet clients on-site in various environmental conditions typical of an outside sales position.
