This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Accountable for enhancing agency partnerships to boost the profitability of GEICO and GEICO-related products within a specified region.
• Supervises the formulation and implementation of strategies aimed at strengthening agency relationships.
• Identifies, interviews, and approves new agency appointments to broaden GEICO’s agency distribution network.
• Oversees agents in the assigned region through in-person meetings, virtual interactions, phone calls, and emails to foster relationships, provide training, and manage agency performance.
• Enforces the policies and procedures associated with the agency program.
• Evaluates agent performance against established goals, protocols, and standards.
• Must be capable of performing essential functions, with or without accommodation, including but not limited to seeing, hearing, typing, and speaking.
• Must communicate in a clear, empathetic, and professional manner over the phone.
• Must be able to meet both in person and virtually.
• Must be adept at following complex instructions, resolving conflicts or facilitating conflict resolution, and possess strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must be able to learn and apply extensive technical and procedural information.
• Bachelor’s degree or three years of sales or relevant experience is preferred.
• Previous experience in driving sales results is essential.
• Experience with various lines of insurance (P&C, Commercial, Life/Health) is advantageous.
• Must comply with GEICO’s driving standards and/or policies.
• A valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required.
