This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee agents within a specific area of responsibility through in-person meetings, virtual interactions, phone conversations, and email communication to foster relationships, provide training, and manage agency performance.

• Serve as the subject matter expert on GEICO and GEICO-affiliated products, features, and tools, while also possessing a comprehensive understanding of competitor offerings to enhance preference for GEICO’s products.

• Transform national strategic initiatives into local objectives and goals to boost agent engagement, execution, and growth.

• Deliver clear communications and assist agencies in crafting local marketing plans and strategies aimed at achieving growth targets.

• Leverage data analysis to develop pre-call strategies that concentrate on the most significant opportunities within the designated area of responsibility and/or specific agency.

• Evaluate the performance of agents against established goals, procedures, and guidelines.

• Provide training to agency staff on GEICO and GEICO-affiliated products, services, and value propositions.

• Advise agents and, with leadership support, implement disciplinary actions against agents, including termination if necessary.

• Identify, interview, and approve new appointments to enhance GEICO’s agency distribution.

• Comply with the GEICO Code of Conduct, as well as company policies and operational principles.

• Maintain attendance standards at the business location to carry out essential job functions and promote interaction with both subordinates and management.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be capable of performing essential functions, with or without accommodation, which include, but are not limited to, seeing, hearing, typing, and speaking.

• Ability to meet in person and via virtual platforms.

• Capable of following complex instructions, resolving conflicts or facilitating conflict resolution, and possessing strong organizational and priority-setting skills.

• Must be able to learn and apply substantial amounts of technical and procedural information.

• Adherence to GEICO’s driving standards and/or policy is required.

• A valid driver’s license and auto insurance are mandatory.

• A Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of sales or relevant insurance experience is required.

• Previous experience in driving sales results is essential.

• Experience working with various lines of insurance is advantageous (P&C, Commercial, Life & Health).

• Bilingual candidates are preferred.
