This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Accountable for driving revenue within a designated territory by fostering loyalty and establishing new accounts.
• Regularly visit healthcare professional (HCP) offices in person within the assigned sales territory to meet budgeted sales targets and other defined objectives.
• Utilize CRM tools for pre-call preparation and post-call documentation to manage the territory effectively.
• Continue to refine strategies for promoting whole-food nutritional supplements within the HCP sector.
• Analyze and interpret market data to support the development of these strategies.
• Collaborate closely with an inside sales partner to generate leads and appointments, follow up, and resolve customer issues.
• Provide insights to sales operations and marketing for the creation of training and educational resources for HCPs.
• Conduct educational sessions for HCPs and distributor sales representatives through both in-person and virtual lunch-and-learn formats.
• Build and sustain professional relationships with industry opinion leaders to maximize growth opportunities.
• Leverage these relationships to expand the HCP network.
• Employ Scientific Liaisons and other internal resources to ensure prompt responses to customer inquiries.
• Must be capable of achieving forecasted goals.
• Participate in all new hire orientation, ongoing training sessions, and headquarters meetings as necessary.
• Travel to regional or national trade shows and conferences to represent Standard Process at the exhibitor booth.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
• A valid driver's license is essential.
• 3-5 years of experience in outside sales is required.
• Sales experience, preferably in the practitioner channel, representing natural or complementary/alternative products (health and wellness, supplements, pharmaceuticals) is preferred.
• A solid understanding of basic nutrition is a must.
• Experience in analyzing sales and demographic data is necessary.
• Proven success in product sales and territory development is required.
• Experience in reporting and presenting sales data and activities is essential.
• Familiarity with CRM software, preferably Salesforce.com, is required.
