Territory Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• BD Diesel Performance is seeking a seasoned Territory Sales Manager for the Northeast region, covering states such as Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Rhode Island.

• The role involves engaging with existing and prospective customers in these areas to promote and sell BD Diesel’s range of products.

• You will assist customers and their vehicles in achieving optimal performance by delivering high-quality products along with exceptional customer service.

• This position reports directly to the Sales Manager and requires travel to customer sites three weeks out of every four.

• Work closely with your manager to create and implement sales strategies that meet the company's objectives.

• Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture relationships with key clients and high-value accounts.

• Sales Forecasting: Set sales targets and devise strategies to meet them.

• Sales Process Optimization: Enhance the sales process to boost efficiency and effectiveness.

• Sales Training and Development: Engage in ongoing product training to expand your product knowledge.

• Participate in annual trips to headquarters for product training sessions.

• Sales Performance Analysis: Review sales performance data to pinpoint areas for improvement and take necessary corrective measures.

• Market Analysis: Keep an eye on market trends, competitor actions, and customer requirements to guide sales strategies.

• Product Introduction: Visit customer locations to showcase and provide guidance on new product launches.

• Customer Feedback: Relay feedback, both positive and negative, from customers to the sales and engineering teams.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by your manager.
