This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +5 more states.
• Develop and effectively implement sales and business development strategies to achieve successful and profitable growth of Benshaw products within the designated territory, meeting the financial goals set by business leadership.
• Foster strong customer engagement to ensure the delivery of exceptional service.
• Guarantee high levels of post-sales satisfaction, nurturing positive long-term relationships and maximizing the potential for repeat business with clients.
• Oversee the coverage and relationship development of existing customers and new target accounts by executing defined Benshaw strategic initiatives and programs, as well as Manufacturer’s and Channel Programs to ensure strong customer engagement and satisfaction.
• Fully utilize the company's Customer Relationship Management tools to enhance sales and sales management efficiencies in support of achieving defined customer engagement KPIs.
• Implement demand generation and product promotional initiatives to build and maintain increased demand for Benshaw products.
• Commit to personal professional development and skill enhancement to improve specific selling, negotiation, and customer engagement abilities.
• Carry out established Manufacturer’s Representative and authorized Distributor development and performance management activities in accordance with program requirements.
• Promote a culture of collaboration with internal teams to achieve NPS, margin, and market share objectives.
• Monitor and document customer, industry, competitor, and market trends along with changing requirements to guide future strategic, commercial, and product roadmap developments.
• Coordinate and deliver product and solution training and education to key customers, showcasing unique product advantages to address customer needs.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Must reside within the sales territory - Western NY, Western PA, Eastern OH, Eastern KY, WV, and Western VA.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, sales, marketing, and/or product marketing in a relevant industry, with proven success in strategic and solution selling methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience with Medium Voltage Drives, Medium Voltage Soft Starters, and Full Voltage Controls.
• Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and comprehend large project and repeat business opportunities that entail technical specifications as well as commercial and legal terms.
• Capability to interpret a wide range of technical instructions presented in mathematical or diagrammatic form and manage multiple abstract and concrete variables.
• Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting common technical journals, financial statements, and legal documents.
• Ability to effectively present information to senior management, customers, channel partners, and other organizational employees.
• Capable of working independently while consistently meeting deadlines.
• Strong commitment to customer service and teamwork is essential.
• Willingness to travel 50% or more, depending on customer requirements.
