This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop a customer base by showcasing products, services, and technical solutions.
• Efficiently oversee a designated territory to optimize business potential.
• Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold outreach.
• Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to contractors and end customers.
• Input all customer opportunities into SalesForce and actively track and manage their status.
• Gather all customer specifications to prepare proposals, including drawings, specifications, and contract terms.
• Facilitate effective communication between the AGI Quote Team and customers to ensure precise cost estimating.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address issues and develop solutions for customer accounts.
• Partner with management to identify and seize sales opportunities.
• Formulate strategies and provide insights to maintain competitive positioning in the market.
• Collect and relay competitive intelligence to relevant internal departments.
• Implement the sales strategy within the current territory to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
• Aid in customer retention by being proactive about competitive situations and engaging with clients.
• Cultivate relationships with key customer decision-makers and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Ensure that sales and retention objectives for all products are achieved.
• Identify and manage distribution channels as necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments while directly dealing with customers to resolve their concerns and complaints.
• Assist in the creation of the sales budget and ensure compliance with budgetary figures.
• Create and maintain sales reports, forecasts, and customer information.
• Support regional, national, and trade show events.
• A high school diploma along with two years of post-secondary education or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of two to four years of experience in outside sales or customer service is required.
• Experience and technical knowledge of the grain handling industry are preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Willingness to travel as necessary to fulfill essential duties and responsibilities, typically 60%-70% of the time.
• A valid state Driver’s License is required.
