
Territory Sales Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Formulate and implement territory sales strategies aimed at meeting annual revenue goals for HVACR product lines, including controls, thermostats, compressors, and condensing units.
• Discover and leverage new business opportunities, fostering growth through both distribution and contractor channels.
• Generate demand utilizing pull-through sales techniques, engaging contractors, and participating in contractor rewards initiatives.
• Develop and execute branch-level sales and marketing strategies, which encompass open houses, trade exhibitions, and promotional activities.
• Establish and nurture robust, long-term relationships with wholesalers, contractors, and key accounts within the designated territory.
• Conduct both in-person and virtual training sessions for wholesalers and contractors to enhance their product knowledge and application expertise.
• Advocate for and contribute to Copeland’s Technical Training Programs, focusing on “teaching for differentiation.”
• Keep precise and current records of customer interactions, opportunities, and competitive insights in Salesforce.
• Monitor and report on sales achievements, training endeavors, and market developments.
• Collaborate across various functions including operations, marketing, product planning, and engineering to provide customer-centric solutions and facilitate portfolio growth.
• Uphold a strong customer-first approach while aligning business goals with operational limitations.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in outside sales.
• Demonstrated success in cultivating customer relationships and driving sales expansion.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
• Strong organizational skills, time management capabilities, and decision-making proficiency.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
• Resilience in high-pressure situations and sound judgment regarding issue escalation.
