📋 Description

• New Business Prospecting: You will be actively engaging in driving up to ranches, participating in local cattle auctions, and meeting with associations like Livestock, Cattlemans, and Stockmans, all to build your business pipeline through proactive lead generation. You’ll also manage incoming leads promptly while prioritizing your field activities alongside administrative duties.

• Field Sales: You are not afraid to get your hands and boots dirty. Discussing Halter is best done over coffee at a kitchen table, while riding horses, or during a side-by-side tour on a pasture. You will be present on the ranch, assisting potential clients before diving into the benefits of Halter. Delivering coffee during calving season is part of how you create those magical moments that matter to our customers.

• Expanding Current Opportunities: You are always on the lookout for new possibilities, including enhancing relationships with existing Halter customers. You recognize the value of nurturing relationships and discovering fresh ways to increase value over time. Since not every rancher will collar all their cows, you see this as a unique chance to achieve your goals.

• Achieving Sales Targets: You embrace high-growth sales targets; challenges motivate you, and you enjoy aiming high. As a skilled pipeline manager, you confidently qualify leads and focus on current deals while keeping future opportunities in view.

• Customer Account Management: For you, relationship building extends beyond making a sale. Post-sale, you aim to maintain close connections with your customers to ensure their satisfaction, provide ongoing support, and address any difficulties they face with Halter’s products. You will also facilitate a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and deployment of Halter, ensuring customers derive maximum value from Halter’s solutions.

• Territory Ownership: You take great pride in what you establish and hold a strong sense of ownership. Managing an entire territory means giving attention to every detail and leaving no stone unturned. You value being the representative of your territory, engaging with key stakeholders from local, state, and federal agencies to forge lasting relationships with regional agricultural organizations.

• Customer Onboarding: Your commitment to ownership continues beyond the sale. You ensure your customers have an outstanding onboarding experience, actively managing the entire customer journey during the onboarding and deployment of Halter’s product. You guarantee a smooth transition from sales to implementation, even after handing the customer over to different teams within Halter.

• Gathering Field Learnings & Feedback: You value feedback not only as essential for the companies you wish to work with but as a fundamental part of how you manage your territory. Acting as the primary contact for collecting customer feedback, you work diligently to advocate for the needs of your customers.

• Collaboration with Support Teams: As a natural collaborator, you seek out partners within Halter to swiftly resolve any issues your customers face. You are proactive in escalating problems as needed, ensuring that customers in your territory feel completely supported.

• Participation in Industry Events: You capitalize on opportunities at relevant industry and Halter events to generate leads and strengthen relationships with existing customers. You will engage in demonstrations and networking to enhance Halter’s market presence.

• Contributing to the US Sales Strategy: You firmly believe that teamwork enhances strength. You work collaboratively with the broader team to refine and adapt the sales process to better suit the US market. Your insights will play a crucial role in driving greater efficiencies as we scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• Driven Attitude & Communication Skills: You are results-oriented, motivated, and adaptable, excelling in high-stakes situations. You are well-prepared and proficient at communicating with both customers and internal teams. Proactivity defines your approach; you do not wait to act.

• Ranching / Cattle Experience: You possess a solid understanding of ranching or cattle operations, which allows you to connect meaningfully with customers regarding their unique challenges.

• Sales & Customer Success Expertise: You have a proven track record of creating new business opportunities, engaging in value-based sales conversations, and building enduring customer relationships. Your focus is on fostering relationships rather than transactional sales, aiming for long-term success stories and expanding existing relationships through upselling.

• Territory Management Experience: You have experience managing a large territory, balancing sales focus and customer success, ideally within agriculture or technology sectors.

• Problem-Solving & Collaboration Skills: You are resourceful and quick-thinking, adept at working with cross-functional teams to address challenges and drive solutions.

• Willingness to Travel: You are prepared to travel frequently within your territory to connect with customers and prospects.
