đź“‹ Description

• Business Prospecting: You will be driving to various locations, attending local cattle auctions, engaging with local Livestock, Cattleman's, and Stockman's associations to develop your new business pipeline through proactive lead generation. You will also handle inbound leads promptly, balancing administrative tasks with your fieldwork.

• Field Sales Engagement: You’re not afraid to get your hands and boots dirty. Discussing Halter is best done over coffee at a kitchen table, while riding in the saddle, or on a side-by-side in a pasture. You’ll be out on the ranch assisting potential clients before showcasing the value of Halter, even bringing coffee during calving season. You appreciate those magical moments that truly matter to our customers.

• Opportunity Expansion: You continuously seek new opportunities, including enhancing relationships with existing Halter customers. You recognize the importance of expanding these relationships and discovering innovative ways to increase value over time. Not every rancher will collar all their cows, so you see this as a unique chance to achieve your objectives.

• Achieving Sales Goals: High-growth sales targets motivate you; you embrace challenges and aim high. As an expert in managing your pipeline, you confidently disqualify leads that don’t fit. You effectively manage current deals while keeping an eye on future opportunities.

• Customer Account Management: For you, building relationships goes beyond just closing sales. After the sale, you focus on maintaining strong connections with your clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction, provide assistance, and address any issues they may encounter with Halter’s products. You’ll also facilitate a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and the deployment of Halter, ensuring clients derive maximum value from our solutions.

• Territory Ownership: You take great pride in your work and possess a strong sense of ownership. Managing an entire territory means giving attention to every detail and leaving no stone unturned. You value being the representative of your territory, meeting with key stakeholders from various local, state, and federal agencies to foster lasting relationships with regional agricultural organizations.

• Customer Onboarding: Your commitment doesn’t stop after the sale; you ensure that your customers have the best onboarding experience possible. You actively oversee the entire customer journey during the onboarding and deployment of Halter’s products, guaranteeing a smooth transition from sales to implementation, even when passing the customer to other teams within Halter.

• Gathering Field Insights & Feedback: You recognize the importance of feedback, not only for the companies you choose to work for but also in how you manage your territory. As the main point of contact for collecting customer feedback, you tirelessly advocate for your customers’ needs.

• Collaboration with Support Teams: You are a natural collaborator, actively seeking partnerships across Halter to swiftly resolve any issues your customers face. You escalate concerns as necessary, ensuring that clients in your territory feel fully supported.

• Participation in Industry Events: You seize opportunities at relevant industry and Halter events to generate leads and strengthen relationships with existing customers. You’ll take part in demonstrations and network to broaden Halter’s market presence.

• Contribution to the US Sales Strategy: You firmly believe that teamwork enhances strength. You aim to collaborate with the broader team to refine and adapt the sales process to fit the US market. As we grow, your insights will be instrumental in driving greater efficiencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Motivated Attitude & Communication Skills: Result-oriented, adaptable, and driven, you thrive in high-pressure situations. You are well-prepared and proficient in communicating with both customers and internal teams. You take initiative and do not wait to take action.

• Experience in Ranching / Cattle: You possess a thorough understanding of ranching or cattle operations, aware of the unique challenges within the industry. This experience enables you to connect genuinely with customers about what is most important.

• Expertise in Sales & Customer Success: You have a proven track record of creating new business opportunities, negotiating value-based sales conversations, and building enduring customer relationships. You prioritize relationships over transactional sales, aiming for long-term success and expanding existing relationships through upselling.

• Experience in Territory Management: You have experience managing a large territory with a balanced emphasis on sales and customer success, preferably in agriculture or technology.

• Problem-Solving & Collaboration Skills: Resourceful and quick-thinking, you collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and generate solutions.
