This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop and maintain robust customer relationships within a portfolio, serving as the primary contact for inquiries, problem resolution, and overall satisfaction.
• Spot opportunities for growth and actively pursue new business prospects, enhancing revenue through strategic efforts such as market expansion and pricing strategies.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (including Sales, Operations, and Category Management) to formulate and implement strategic plans that foster customer growth, efficiency, and ease of business.
• Conduct regular business assessments, manage tender processes, and negotiate agreements, ensuring alignment with both business objectives and customer requirements.
• Track account performance using key metrics and customer insights (e.g., NPS), executing strategies to improve customer experience and loyalty.
• Supervise the annual audit process to guarantee compliance with CHEP’s policies and recover any overdue equipment fees.
• Lead projects focused on decreasing transportation costs and enhancing supply chain efficiency, delivering value to customers while streamlining operational processes.
• Assist in integrating sustainability initiatives with customers, supporting CHEP’s overarching corporate social responsibility goals.
• A valid UK Driver's License (a company car is provided!)
• At least two years of experience in a customer-facing role in the field
• A minimum of two years in Account Management and Business Development within the FMCG or Supply Chain industry
• 25 days of holiday plus statutory leave, with the option to buy or sell 5 additional days
