This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Business Prospecting: You will be driving up driveways, attending local cattle auctions, engaging with your local Livestock, Cattleman's, and Stockman's associations, and building your business pipeline through proactive lead generation efforts. You’ll also handle inbound leads promptly while prioritizing administrative tasks alongside your in-field activities.

• Field Sales Engagement: You’re not afraid to get your hands and boots dirty. Discussions about Halter are best had over coffee at a kitchen table, in the saddle, or on a side-by-side in a pasture. You actively assist potential customers on their ranches before discussing the benefits of Halter, and you’ll drop off coffee during calving season, appreciating the special moments that mean a lot to our customers.

• Opportunity Expansion: You continually seek new opportunities, including expanding your existing customer base with Halter. You recognize the importance of nurturing relationships and discovering innovative ways to enhance value over time. Not every rancher will collar all their cows, presenting a unique chance for you to meet your objectives.

• Achieving Sales Goals: Challenging sales targets motivate you; you embrace challenges and aim high. As an adept pipeline manager, you confidently disqualify unfit leads. You can manage current deals while keeping an eye on future opportunities.

• Customer Account Management: For you, building relationships extends beyond making a sale. Post-sale, you strive to maintain close connections with your customers to ensure their satisfaction, provide support, and address any issues they encounter with Halter's products. You will facilitate a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and deployment of Halter, helping clients maximize their use of Halter’s solutions.

• Territory Stewardship: You take great pride in owning your territory, ensuring that every area receives attention and no opportunity is overlooked. You value being the representative of your territory, engaging with key stakeholders from various local, state, and federal agencies to forge lasting relationships with regional agricultural groups.

• Customer Onboarding Experience: Your commitment doesn’t end with the sale; you ensure that your customers have an exceptional onboarding experience. You take ownership of the entire customer experience during onboarding and deployment of Halter’s products, facilitating a smooth transition from sales to implementation, even when handing off customers to different teams within Halter.

• Gathering Field Insights & Feedback: You understand that feedback is vital for the companies you wish to represent, and it is an integral part of how you manage your territory. As the primary contact for collecting customer feedback within your area, you work diligently to advocate for your customers' needs.

• Collaboration with Support Teams: You are a natural collaborator who seeks out partnerships across Halter to swiftly resolve any issues your customers face. You escalate problems as necessary and ensure that customers in your territory receive comprehensive support.

• Participation in Industry Events: You seize opportunities at relevant industry and Halter events to generate leads and strengthen relationships with existing customers. You’ll engage in demonstrations and network to enhance Halter’s presence in the market.

• Contribution to the US Sales Strategy: You believe in the power of teamwork, striving to collaborate with the broader team to refine and enhance the sales process, ensuring it aligns with the US market. As we grow, your insights will help drive increased efficiency.


⛳️ Requirements

• Motivated Attitude & Communication Skills: You are results-oriented, adaptable, and excel in high-pressure environments. You are well-prepared and proficient in communicating with both customers and internal teams. You take initiative and act proactively.

• Experience in Ranching / Cattle Operations: You are familiar with the ins and outs of ranching or cattle operations, understanding the unique challenges of the industry. This background enables you to connect with customers on what matters most.

• Expertise in Sales & Customer Success: You have a proven track record of generating new business opportunities, engaging in value-based sales conversations, and building enduring customer relationships. Your focus is on developing long-term success stories rather than just transactional sales, and you can expand existing relationships through upselling.

• Experience in Territory Management: You have managed a large territory with a balanced focus on sales and customer success, preferably within agriculture or technology.

• Problem-Solving & Collaborative Skills: You are resourceful and quick-thinking, working effectively with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and implement solutions.

• Willingness to Travel: You are open to frequent travel within your territory to engage with customers and prospects.
