This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +2 more states.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies for the territory to meet revenue and growth objectives.
• Seek and engage new business prospects with dealers, contractors, municipalities, and rental firms.
• Showcase the complete Steelwrist product range through demonstrations, presentations, and client visits.
• Sustain a robust sales pipeline while delivering precise forecasting and reporting.
• Track market trends, competitor actions, and customer requirements within the designated area.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with both current and potential dealers.
• Assist dealer sales personnel through product training, ride-alongs, and technical support.
• Aid dealers with pricing, product selection, and applications advice.
• Organize and facilitate product demonstrations, trade exhibitions, and customer events.
• Ensure prompt communication and high-quality service for customers.
• Efficiently manage the travel schedule within the assigned territory to enhance customer engagement.
• Keep CRM records up to date, along with sales activity reports and opportunity tracking.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, including support, marketing, production, and leadership.
• Assist in inventory planning and forecasting according to regional demand.
• Contribute to territory growth strategies and overarching company goals.
• Cultivate and retain strong technical expertise regarding Steelwrist products and excavator attachment uses.
• Offer product suggestions based on machine size, customer use cases, and jobsite specifications.
• Provide assistance to customers and dealers with basic troubleshooting and coordination of service support as necessary.
• Stay updated on industry developments, technological advancements, and competitor products.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction equipment, attachments, heavy equipment sales, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of excavators, attachments, and applications within the construction equipment sector.
• Demonstrated capability to build and sustain relationships with customers and dealers.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-driven with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with dealer distribution networks; Familiarity with tiltrotator systems and hydraulic attachment technology; Experience in CRM reporting.
