This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Business Prospecting: You will be visiting local cattle auctions, engaging with associations such as Livestock, Cattleman's, and Stockman's, and generating new business opportunities through outbound lead generation. You will also manage inbound leads promptly while balancing administrative tasks with field activities.
β’ Field Sales: You are not afraid to get your hands dirty. Discussing Halter is best done over coffee at a kitchen table, in the saddle, or while riding in a side-by-side on a pasture. You will be out on the ranch assisting potential clients before delving into the benefits of Halter, even delivering coffee during calving season. You appreciate the special moments that significantly impact our customers.
β’ Expanding Current Opportunities: You are always on the lookout for new possibilities, including enhancing relationships with existing customers using Halter. You recognize the importance of nurturing relationships and discovering innovative ways to add value over time. Not every rancher will collar all their cows, which presents a unique opportunity for you to achieve your goals.
β’ Achieving Sales Goals: Ambitious sales targets do not intimidate you; instead, you embrace challenges and aim high. You are a proficient pipeline manager and confidently qualify leads. You can manage current deals while keeping an eye on future opportunities.
β’ Customer Account Management: For you, building relationships goes beyond merely making sales. After closing a deal, you strive to maintain strong connections with your customers to ensure their ongoing satisfaction, provide assistance, and address any challenges they encounter with Halter's products. You will also facilitate a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and deployment, maximizing the value customers derive from Halter's solutions.
β’ Territory Management: You take great pride in owning your territory and ensuring that every area receives attention. You view being the representative of your territory as an opportunity to build lasting relationships with influential stakeholders from various local, state, and federal agencies, as well as regional agricultural groups.

You ensure that your customers enjoy the best onboarding experience possible, actively managing the entire customer experience during the onboarding and deployment of Halter's products, guaranteeing a smooth transition even when different teams take over.
β’ Gathering Feedback: You understand the importance of feedback not only for the companies you represent but also as a fundamental aspect of managing your territory. As the main point of contact for collecting customer feedback, you advocate tirelessly for your customers' needs.
β’ Collaborating with Support Teams: You are a natural collaborator who actively seeks partnerships across Halter to quickly resolve any issues your customers face. You escalate problems as necessary, ensuring that customers in your territory feel fully supported.
β’ Participating in Industry Events: You capitalize on opportunities at relevant industry and Halter events to generate leads and strengthen relationships with current customers. You will engage in demonstrations and networking to enhance Halter's visibility in the market.
β’ Contributing to the US Sales Strategy: You firmly believe that teamwork enhances strength. You strive to collaborate with the broader team to refine and adapt the sales process to fit the US market. As we grow, your contributions will drive improved efficiencies.

β’ Ranching / Cattle Experience: You possess a solid understanding of ranching or cattle operations, recognizing the unique challenges within the industry. This experience enables you to connect authentically with customers regarding what is most important to them.
β’ Sales & Customer Success Expertise: You have a proven track record of creating new business opportunities, engaging in value-based sales discussions, and fostering enduring customer relationships. You prioritize building relationships over transactional sales and aim for long-term success stories, leveraging upsell opportunities to enhance existing relationships.
β’ Territory Management Experience: You have experience overseeing a large territory with a balanced focus on sales and customer success, ideally within the agriculture or technology sectors.
β’ Problem-Solving & Collaboration Skills: You are resourceful and quick to think on your feet, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and devise solutions.
β’ Willingness to Travel: You are open to frequent travel within your territory to engage with customers and prospects.
