This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Achieve targets for bookings, timely renewals, net revenue retention, and multi-suite growth by developing and executing sales strategies within a designated account territory.
• Create and update quarterly territory plans focused on whitespace, executive personas, funded initiatives, service attachments, adoption gaps, and subsequent strategies by buying persona.
• Generate and advance the sales pipeline by implementing targeted plays, engaging with executives, and fostering multi-threaded connections across Superintendent, CIO, CFO, CHRO, CAO, and Procurement.
• Manage deals from inception to closure, including RFP strategy, pricing and terms negotiation, commercial approvals, legal discussions, and control of procurement timelines.
• Ensure forecast accuracy and uphold CRM standards, including contacts, activities, next steps, and stage exits that align with PowerSchool’s established deal methodology.
• Coordinate with Solution Consulting, Services, Customer Success, and Partners to enhance value realization, conduct QBRs, meet SLAs, and ensure readiness for renewals.
• Gather and communicate market insights and customer feedback to product, pricing, and go-to-market teams to refine offer structures, sales strategies, or guidance for product, pricing, and marketing.
• Travel frequently (50–60%), including multi-state trips, to support high-impact initiatives such as advancing strategic deals, leading onsite demonstrations, and facilitating executive workshops, particularly during peak business cycles.
• Proven track record of achieving bookings and revenue retention targets, including multi-suite expansion within assigned accounts.
• Experience managing 6- to 9-month sales cycles focused on cross-selling, coordinating overlay teams through public-sector procurement across various buying personas; adept at converting a champion in one persona into wins with others (e.g., from CFO to CHRO or CAO).
• Demonstrated discipline in pipeline management and forecasting in Salesforce, ready for weekly review inspections.
• Proficiency with modern deal methodologies and mutual close plans, such as MEDDPICC, ensuring all components are accurately maintained in CRM and utilized to facilitate stage exits.
• Over 4 years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, preferably in CRM, ERP, Analytics, or EdTech.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
