This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Meet individual sales objectives for your designated territory as set by the Esperion Commercial Leadership team.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to assess performance metrics and ensure the territory achieves optimal sales outcomes.
• Build and sustain robust business relationships with key clients within the assigned region.
• Promote and educate Health Care Providers (HCPs) about Esperion products through personalized meetings, virtual interactions, company-endorsed promotional speaker programs, and other authorized initiatives.
• Evaluate local market trends and develop, implement, and track performance to enhance the appropriate utilization of Esperion products.
• Effectively utilize sales and marketing tools and resources to meet business goals.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Esperion product payer coverage to achieve market access objectives within the assigned territory.
• Attend local, regional, and national congresses periodically to showcase Esperion brands to HCP attendees.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all administrative duties, including sample inventory management, call submissions and reporting, expense tracking, vehicle mileage documentation, and other related responsibilities as required by Esperion.
• Adhere to all corporate policies and procedures, complete necessary compliance training, and consistently exhibit behaviors that reflect the company's values.
• Follow all guidelines for the Esperion Expense Report and stay within the assigned territory budget.
• Foster effective communication among Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Territory Managers (TMs); organize and monitor performance to realize the business potential of the territory.
• Strive to maintain alignment between Sales and Marketing efforts, ensuring high standards in executing business initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with sales leadership and Market Access to enhance pull-through from both commercial and government payers.
• Ensure compliance with vendor credentialing requirements for platforms such as VendorMate and RepTrax to maintain access to customer locations.
• A bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• A degree in a scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Kinesiology, Pre-med, or other STEM disciplines) is preferred, along with 1-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or relevant sales; or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience engaging with Healthcare Professionals is preferred but not essential.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%, including overnight stays for territory-related business and occasional regional and national sales meetings.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record that complies with Esperion's employment standards.
• A proven history of high performance in sales, academics, athletics, or similar pursuits.
• An interest in working within a start-up environment or prior experience in an entrepreneurial sales model with full responsibility for product promotion across a vast geographic area.
