This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Accountable for the on-label marketing and implementation of sales strategies for approved Esperion products targeted at specific customers within the designated geographic area.
• Meet individual sales objectives as established by Esperion Commercial Leadership.
• Review performance metrics with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to ensure the territory is achieving optimal sales outcomes.
• Build and sustain robust business relationships with key clients in the assigned region.
• Effectively promote and educate Healthcare Providers (HCPs) on the use of Esperion products through one-on-one meetings, virtual interactions, company-approved promotional speaker programs, and other sanctioned initiatives.
• Analyze local market trends, formulate, implement, and monitor performance and results to enhance the appropriate utilization of Esperion products.
• Showcase the effective use of sales and marketing tools and resources to meet business objectives.
• Exhibit and maintain thorough knowledge of Esperion product payor coverage to meet market access targets for the designated territory.
• Occasionally attend local, regional, and national conferences to advocate for Esperion brands to HCP participants.
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of all administrative responsibilities, including sample inventory, call submissions & reporting, expense management, vehicle mileage reporting, and other duties as required by Esperion.
• Uphold compliance with all corporate policies and procedures, complete all mandatory compliance training, and consistently exhibit behaviors aligned with company values.
• Adhere to all Esperion Expense Report guidelines and respect the allocated territory budget.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Territory Managers (TMs); organize and monitor performance to realize the business potential of the Territory.
• Monitor and aim to sustain alignment between Sales and Marketing initiatives while ensuring high standards for executing business projects.
• Collaborate closely with sales leadership and Market Access to optimize pull-through from commercial and government payers.
• Maintain vendor credentialing requirements for platforms such as VendorMate and RepTrax to ensure access to customer locations.
• Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• Preferred degree in sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Kinesiology, Pre-med, or other STEM backgrounds).
• 1 - 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or relevant sales.
• Candidates with military backgrounds or similar experiences demonstrating determination and discipline will also be considered.
• Experience engaging with or working alongside Healthcare Professionals is preferred but not required.
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 30%, including overnight stays for territory business and occasional Regional and National Sales Meetings.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record that meets Esperion's employment standards.
• Documented history of consistent high performance in sales, academics, athletics, or comparable endeavors.
• A desire to thrive in a startup atmosphere or proven success in managing an entrepreneurial sales model with sole responsibility for product promotion across a vast geographic territory.
