This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +22 more states.
• Accountable for the renewal and expansion of the current account portfolio within the designated territory.
• Diligently qualify both inbound and outbound leads while seeking opportunities for new logo acquisitions.
• Utilize consultative selling methods, initiate discovery discussions, and comprehend customer workflows and processes to identify pain points.
• Manage standards, accreditation, supplier risk, trade compliance, ESG requirements, and supply chain disruptions.
• Clearly communicate how ANSI can deliver effective solutions.
• Ensure precise forecasting, maintain pipeline integrity, and document activities in CRM (Salesforce); offer dependable commit and upside reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales.
• Regularly achieve or surpass monthly and quarterly new business revenue targets.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is mandatory.
• Five to ten years of relevant experience in standards or publications sales.
• Experience in SAAS sales is required.
• A thorough understanding of the standards industry is essential.
• Familiarity with sales methodologies and go-to-market programs (MEDDIC, BANT, or similar) is necessary.
• Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills are essential within organizational contexts.
• Capability to independently generate sales leads and expand the business.
• Experience or educational background in Salesforce or Microsoft CRM tools is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with sales tools such as LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Apollo is advantageous.
