📋 Description

• New Business Prospecting: You will drive to various locations, attend local cattle auctions, engage with local Livestock, Cattleman's, and Stockman's associations, and build your business pipeline through proactive lead generation efforts. You will also promptly address inbound leads while prioritizing administrative tasks alongside your field activities.

• Field Sales Engagement: You are unafraid of getting your hands and boots dirty. Discussions about Halter are best held over coffee at a kitchen table, in the saddle, or on a side-by-side in a pasture. You will be present on the ranch assisting potential customers before discussing the value of Halter. Bringing coffee during calving season is part of your approach, as you cherish those special moments that significantly impact our customers.

• Expanding Current Opportunities: You are always on the lookout for new prospects, which includes expanding your existing customer base with Halter. You find value in deepening relationships and discovering new ways to enhance value over time. Recognizing that not every rancher will collar all their cows, you view this as a unique opportunity to achieve your goals.

• Achieving Sales Targets: High-growth sales targets do not intimidate you; instead, you embrace challenges and aim high. You are a proficient pipeline manager who confidently qualifies leads. You can manage current deals while keeping an eye on next month's objectives.

• Customer Account Management: To you, relationship building extends beyond making a sale. Post-sale, you strive to maintain close connections with your customers to ensure their ongoing satisfaction, provide support, and tackle any challenges they encounter with Halter’s products. You will also facilitate a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and deployment, helping clients maximize the value of Halter’s solutions.

• Territory Ownership: You take great pride in what you build and have a strong sense of ownership. Managing an entire territory means attending to every detail and leaving no stone unturned. You value being the representative of your territory, engaging with key stakeholders from various local, state, and federal agencies to forge lasting relationships with regional agricultural organizations.

• Customer Onboarding: Your commitment to ownership extends beyond the sale. You ensure your customers enjoy the best onboarding experience possible. You actively manage the end-to-end customer experience during onboarding and deployment, guaranteeing a smooth transition from sales to implementation, even when transferring customers to different teams within Halter.

• Field Insights & Feedback: You recognize that feedback is crucial not only for the companies you wish to work with but is also central to how you manage your territory. As the primary point of contact for gathering customer feedback in your area, you work diligently to advocate for your customers' needs.

• Collaboration with Support Teams: You are a natural collaborator, proactively seeking assistance from partners across Halter to swiftly address any issues your customers face. You escalate problems as necessary, ensuring that customers in your territory feel thoroughly supported.

• Participation in Industry Events: You capitalize on opportunities at relevant industry and Halter events to generate leads and strengthen relationships with existing customers. You will take part in demonstrations and network to broaden Halter’s market influence.

• Contribution to US Sales Strategy: You firmly believe that teamwork strengthens the overall outcome. You aim to collaborate with the broader team to refine and adapt the sales process to better align with the US market. As we grow, your insights will help drive greater efficiencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Driven Attitude & Communication Skills: You are results-oriented, motivated, and adaptable, thriving in high-pressure environments. You are well-prepared and skilled in communicating effectively with both customers and internal teams. You take initiative and do not hesitate to act.

• Ranching / Cattle Experience: You possess a solid understanding of ranching or cattle operations, recognizing the unique challenges within the industry. This experience enables you to connect meaningfully with customers regarding their most important concerns.

• Sales & Customer Success Expertise: You have a proven track record of creating new business opportunities, conducting value-based sales conversations, and building enduring customer relationships. Your focus is on fostering relationships rather than transactional sales, aiming for long-term success stories and the ability to expand existing relationships through upselling.

• Territory Management Experience: You have experience managing a large territory with a balanced emphasis on sales and customer success, ideally in agriculture or technology sectors.

• Problem-Solving & Collaboration Skills: You are resourceful and quick-witted, working effectively with cross-functional teams to address challenges and develop solutions.

• Willingness to Travel: You are prepared to travel frequently within your territory to engage with customers and prospects.
