This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Act as the representative of our company to designated agents.
• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of each agency’s operations and employ effective management strategies to promote profitable multi-line growth.
• Accountable for meeting annual sales targets for the designated territory in accordance with the annual business plan.
• Oversee agency relationships and facilitate business development from a comprehensive lines perspective.
• Ensure agencies are held accountable for establishing a solid book of business with Encova.
• Collaborate with business teams to create and uphold a sales strategy.
• Deliver training to agencies and new agency recruits on all Encova offerings.
• A minimum of one year of sales experience or relevant industry experience (such as claims or underwriting) is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree and prior experience in insurance are preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
• Must demonstrate a strong phone presence and experience with handling multiple outbound/inbound calls daily.
• Proficient in corporate productivity and web presentation tools, including online meetings and video conferencing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including both formal and informal presentation skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or comparable customer relationship management (CRM) software is preferred.
