📋 Description

• New Business Prospecting: You will be driving into driveways, attending local cattle auctions, connecting with your local Livestock, Cattlemans, and Stockmans associations, and building your new business pipeline through outbound lead generation efforts. You will also handle inbound leads promptly, prioritizing administrative tasks alongside your field activities.

• In-Field Sales: You are not afraid to get your hands and boots dirty. Discussing Halter is best over coffee at a kitchen table, while horseback riding, or on a side-by-side in a pasture. You will be out on the ranch assisting potential customers before presenting the value of Halter. You may even deliver coffee during calving season, cherishing the magical moments that significantly impact our customers.

• Expanding Existing Opportunities: You are always on the lookout for new opportunities, including expanding your current customer base with Halter. You appreciate the importance of building relationships and discovering new ways to enhance value over time. Recognizing that not every rancher will collar all their cows, you view this as a unique chance to achieve your goals.

• Meeting Sales Targets: Ambitious sales targets do not intimidate you; you rise to challenges and aim high. You are an adept pipeline manager who confidently qualifies leads. You can manage current deals while keeping future opportunities in view.

• Customer Account Management: For you, building relationships extends beyond closing a sale. Post-sale, you strive to maintain strong connections with your customers to ensure their continued satisfaction, offer support, and address any challenges they encounter with Halter’s products. You will also facilitate a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and deployment of Halter, ensuring customers maximize the value of Halter’s solutions.

• Territory Ownership: You possess a strong sense of ownership and take pride in your contributions. Owning an entire territory entails giving attention to every aspect and leaving no stone unturned. You value being the face of your territory, engaging with key stakeholders from various local, state, and federal agencies to build enduring relationships with regional agricultural groups.

• Customer Onboarding: Your commitment to ownership does not end after the sale. You ensure that your customers receive the best onboarding experience possible. You actively manage the end-to-end customer experience during onboarding and deployment of Halter’s product, guaranteeing a smooth transition from sales to implementation, even when the customer has been handed off to different teams within Halter.

• Field Learnings & Feedback: Gathering feedback is essential not only for the companies you wish to work for but is also central to how you manage your territory. As the main point of contact for collecting customer feedback in your area, you tirelessly advocate for your customers' needs.

• Collaborating with Support Teams: You are a natural collaborator, actively seeking partners across Halter to quickly resolve any issues your customers face. You escalate problems as required and ensure that customers in your territory feel completely supported.

• Attending Industry Events: You capitalize on opportunities at relevant industry and Halter events to generate leads and strengthen relationships with existing customers. You will engage in demonstrations and networking to broaden Halter’s influence in the marketplace.

• Contributing to the US Sales Strategy: You firmly believe that a team is stronger when working together. You strive to collaborate with the broader team to refine and enhance the sales process, ensuring it is well-suited for the US market. As we grow, your insights will help drive greater efficiencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Driven Attitude & Communication Skills: You are results-oriented, motivated, and adaptable, thriving in high-pressure environments. You are well-prepared and proficient in communicating with customers and internal teams alike. Proactivity is one of your strengths; you do not hesitate to take action.

• Ranching / Cattle Experience: You are knowledgeable about ranching or cattle operations, understanding the unique challenges within the industry. This experience enables you to connect meaningfully with customers regarding their most pressing concerns.

• Sales & Customer Success Expertise: You have a robust track record of generating new business opportunities, negotiating value-based sales conversations, and fostering lasting customer relationships. You prioritize relationship-building over transactional sales, aiming for long-term success stories and identifying upsell opportunities to expand existing relationships.

• Territory Management Experience: You have experience managing a large territory with a balanced focus on sales and customer success, ideally within agriculture or technology.

• Problem Solving & Collaboration Ability: You are resourceful and quick-thinking, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and drive solutions.

• Willingness to Travel: You are prepared for frequent travel within your territory to engage with customers and prospects.
