This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +1 more state.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with physicians, HF clinics, administrators, and key stakeholders.
• Present clinical, technical, and strategic information to enhance therapy comprehension and acceptance.
• Lead discussions on pricing, negotiate contracts, and engage in value-based conversations.
• Organize and implement educational events centered on hemodynamics, GDMT, published research, biomarkers, patient selection, and local case studies.
• Offer support on the day of procedures and assist with post-operative troubleshooting as required.
• Achieve or surpass sales goals and execute quarterly business strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with Marketing, Professional Education, and Commercial Excellence teams.
• Monitor territory performance, customer engagement, and pipeline activities.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with key accounts to evaluate performance and pinpoint growth opportunities.
• Work in partnership with Clinical Account Representatives to offer a cohesive strategy for priority accounts.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Provide timely and precise sales reports, forecasts, and insights into competitive activities.
• Identify, assess, and convert new business prospects across implanting and community sites.
• Leverage market insights to grasp customer needs, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes.
• Develop and implement territory strategies to enhance market share and promote sustainable adoption.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of CardioMEMS, competitive offerings, and alternative therapies.
• Provide on-call technical, clinical, and engineering assistance for field inquiries and procedural requirements.
• Deliver procedural case coverage throughout the region, ensuring top-notch support for implanting teams.
• Assist HF clinics with training, education, clinical data collection, and the introduction of new products.
• Comply with FDA regulations, company policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.
• Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and expenses.
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Engage with patients as necessary in a professional and compliant manner.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of direct healthcare sales experience; at least 2 years in cardiology structural heart/heart failure preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving ≥100% of quota for 2 consecutive years.
• Demonstrated ability to open 3–5+ new accounts per year or expand underutilized accounts to consistent usage.
• Strong understanding of the payor and insurance reimbursement landscape.
• Recent launch experience (Preferred) (within the last 3–5 years) leading 2–3 program or therapy launches annually with evidence of sustainability (e.g., active clinic users, adherence to workflows, utilization trends), including:
• Pre-launch planning, stakeholder alignment, and executive sponsorship, along with training, education, and clinical workflow integration, and post-launch support with long-term sustainability strategies.
• Experience in driving program implementation and ongoing program development, such as: HF clinic onboarding, remote monitoring workflow development, and metrics for utilization ramp and adoption.
• Strong executive presence and capability to deliver clinical/technical presentations to audiences of 1–50 stakeholders.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional buying groups (value analysis committees, supply chain, service line leadership).
• Skill in influencing multiple key stakeholders to drive growth.
• Comprehensive understanding of market dynamics.
• Strong commercial acumen with the capacity to create data-driven territory strategies, forecasting models, and QBRs using CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), analytics, and Excel.
• Willingness to travel 60-70% within the territory, including occasional overnight stays and early/late case support.
