This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Meet and surpass sales objectives, activity benchmarks, and distribution goals for the territory.
• Perform in-office visits, provide product detailing, merchandising assistance, and staff training to enhance brand awareness and performance.
• Promote product adoption in designated optometry practices, including dry eye specialty clinics, independent ODs, multi-location practices, and optical retailers.
• Implement sales strategies at the practice level to increase recommendations and patient purchases of iVIZIA® dry eye products in retail environments.
• Identify and establish buy and bill opportunities within practices.
• Cultivate robust, consultative relationships with optometrists, technicians, office managers, and retail optical personnel.
• Conduct product demonstrations, offer clinical education, and provide training on patient recommendations.
• Assist in optimizing in-office dry eye workflows (diagnosis, recommendation, retail placement, patient handoff).
• Represent the organization at local society gatherings, customer events, and educational programs at the territory level.
• Organize territory routing, call planning, frequency, and segmentation to enhance reach and effectiveness.
• Evaluate territory sales data, market trends, and competitive activities to uncover new opportunities.
• Keep precise CRM records, call notes, sampling logs, and customer information.
• Oversee and support in-office inventory, point-of-sale materials, and merchandising implementation.
• Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Manager to synchronize priorities, tactics, and growth strategies.
• Provide valuable “voice of customer” insights to marketing, sales leadership, and medical teams.
• Assist with national campaigns, sampling initiatives, pilot programs, and conference-related activities as assigned.
• Ensure full adherence to company policies, promotional guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Responsibly manage the territory budget, including travel, samples, and promotional materials.
• Engage in team training sessions, national meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Over 2 years of sales experience in OTC consumer health, pharmaceuticals, buy and bill, or medical devices is preferred.
• Experience in eyecare is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of optometric practice operations and patient recommendation behaviors is greatly valued.
• Proven success in territory management, customer relationship development, and achieving sales outcomes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory.
• Self-motivated individual with robust organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
