This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Meet and surpass sales objectives, activity metrics, and distribution goals for the territory.
• Conduct in-office visits, provide product detailing, offer merchandising support, and educate staff to enhance brand visibility and performance.
• Promote adoption within targeted optometry accounts such as dry eye specialty clinics, independent ODs, multi-location practices, and optical retailers.
• Implement selling strategies at the practice level to broaden iVIZIA® dry eye product recommendations and increase retail purchases by patients.
• Identify buy and bill opportunities within practices.
• Develop strong, consultative relationships with optometrists, technicians, office managers, and retail optical personnel.
• Provide product demonstrations, clinical education, and training on patient recommendations.
• Assist in optimizing in-office dry eye workflows (diagnosis, recommendations, retail placements, patient handoffs).
• Represent the company at local society meetings, customer events, and educational programs at the territory level.
• Manage territory routing, call planning, frequency, and segmentation to maximize outreach and effectiveness.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activities within the territory to uncover new opportunities.
• Keep precise CRM documentation, call notes, sampling records, and customer information.
• Oversee and support in-office inventory, point-of-sale materials, and merchandising execution.
• Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Manager to align on priorities, strategies, and growth initiatives.
• Provide actionable feedback from customers to marketing, sales leadership, and medical teams.
• Assist with national campaigns, sampling initiatives, pilot programs, and conference activities as needed.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, promotional guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Responsibly manage the territory budget, including travel, samples, and promotional materials.
• Engage in team training, national meetings, and continuing skills development sessions.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 2+ years of sales experience in OTC consumer health, pharmaceuticals, buy and bill, or medical devices preferred.
• Experience in eyecare is strongly preferred.
• A solid understanding of optometric practice operations and patient recommendation behavior is highly valued.
• Proven track record in territory management, building customer relationships, and achieving sales results.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory.
• Self-motivated individual with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
