This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Meet and surpass sales objectives, activity benchmarks, and distribution goals within the designated territory.
• Perform in-office visits, provide product detailing, offer merchandising assistance, and educate staff to enhance brand visibility and effectiveness.
• Promote adoption in targeted optometry accounts, including dry eye specialty clinics, independent optometrists, multi-location practices, and optical retailers.
• Implement selling strategies at the practice level to broaden recommendations for the iVIZIA® dry eye product line and boost patient purchases in retail locations.
• Identify and establish buy and bill opportunities within offices.
• Foster strong, consultative relationships with optometrists, technicians, office managers, and retail optical personnel.
• Provide product demonstrations, clinical education, and training for patient recommendations.
• Assist in optimizing dry eye workflow within the office (diagnosis, recommendations, retail placement, patient handoff).
• Represent the company at local society meetings, customer events, and educational programs at the territory level.
• Oversee territory routing, call planning, frequency, and segmentation to maximize outreach and effectiveness.
• Analyze territory sales data, market trends, and competitive activities to uncover new opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, call notes, sampling logs, and customer information.
• Monitor and support in-office inventory, point-of-sale materials, and merchandising execution.
• Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Manager to align on key priorities, strategies, and growth initiatives.
• Deliver actionable feedback from the “voice of the customer” to marketing, sales leadership, and medical teams.
• Assist with national campaigns, sampling initiatives, pilot projects, and conference activities as assigned.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, promotional guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Manage the territory budget responsibly, including travel, samples, and promotional materials.
• Engage in team training, national meetings, and ongoing skills development sessions.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in OTC consumer health, pharmaceuticals, buy and bill, or medical devices preferred.
• Experience in eyecare is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of optometric practice operations and patient recommendation behaviors is greatly valued.
• Proven success in territory management, building customer relationships, and achieving sales outcomes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be willing to travel daily within the assigned territory.
• Self-motivated individual with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
