This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Meet and surpass sales goals, activity metrics, and distribution objectives for the territory.
• Conduct in-office visits, product detailing, merchandising support, and staff training to enhance brand visibility and performance.
• Promote adoption in targeted optometric accounts, including dry eye specialty clinics, independent ODs, multi-location practices, and optical retailers.
• Implement selling strategies at the practice level to broaden iVIZIA® dry eye product recommendations and patient purchases at retail locations.
• Identify buy and bill opportunities within practices.
• Cultivate strong, consultative relationships with optometrists, technicians, office managers, and retail optical staff.
• Provide product demonstrations, clinical education, and training for patient recommendations.
• Assist in optimizing in-office dry eye workflows (diagnosis, recommendation, retail placement, patient handoff).
• Represent the company at local society meetings, customer events, and educational programs at the territory level.
• Manage territory routing, call planning, frequency, and segmentation to maximize outreach and impact.
• Analyze territory sales data, market trends, and competitive actions to pinpoint new opportunities.
• Ensure accurate documentation in CRM, including call notes, sampling logs, and customer data.
• Oversee and support in-office inventory, point-of-sale materials, and merchandising execution.
• Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Manager to align on priorities, tactics, and growth strategies.
• Provide insightful “voice of customer” feedback to marketing, sales leadership, and medical teams.
• Assist with national campaigns, sampling programs, pilot initiatives, and conference activities as assigned.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, promotional guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Responsibly manage the territory budget, including travel, samples, and promotional materials.
• Engage in team training sessions, national meetings, and continuous skills development opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in OTC consumer health, pharmaceuticals, buy and bill, or medical devices is preferred.
• Previous experience in eyecare is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of optometric practice operations and patient recommendation behaviors is highly valued.
• Proven track record in territory management, building customer relationships, and achieving sales results.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to travel daily within the assigned territory.
• Self-motivated individual with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
