This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Meet and surpass sales objectives, activity benchmarks, and distribution goals for the territory.
• Perform in-office visits, provide product detailing and merchandising support, and conduct staff training to enhance brand recognition and performance.
• Promote adoption in targeted optometry practices, including dry eye specialty clinics, independent optometrists, multi-location practices, and optical retailers.
• Implement selling strategies at the practice level to increase recommendations and patient purchases of iVIZIA® dry eye products at retail locations.
• Identify and establish buy-and-bill opportunities within offices.
• Cultivate strong, consultative relationships with optometrists, technicians, office managers, and retail optical personnel.
• Provide product demonstrations, clinical education, and training for patient recommendations.
• Assist in optimizing in-office dry eye workflows, including diagnosis, recommendations, retail placement, and patient transitions.
• Represent the company at local society meetings, customer events, and educational programs at the territory level.
• Organize territory routing, call planning, frequency, and segmentation to maximize outreach and effectiveness.
• Evaluate territory sales data, market trends, and competitive actions to uncover new opportunities.
• Keep accurate records in the CRM, including call notes, sampling logs, and customer information.
• Oversee in-office inventory, point-of-sale materials, and merchandising execution.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to align on priorities, strategies, and growth initiatives.
• Provide valuable "voice of customer" insights to marketing, sales leadership, and medical teams.
• Assist with national campaigns, sampling programs, pilot initiatives, and conference activities as required.
• Adhere to company policies, promotional guidelines, and regulatory standards at all times.
• Manage the territory budget effectively, covering travel, samples, and promotional materials.
• Engage in team training, national meetings, and continuous skills development sessions.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Over 2 years of sales experience in OTC consumer health, pharmaceuticals, buy-and-bill, or medical devices is preferred.
• Experience in the eyecare field is strongly preferred.
• A strong understanding of optometric practice operations and patient recommendation behaviors is highly valued.
• Proven success in territory management, building customer relationships, and generating sales results.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
