This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets, activity metrics, and distribution objectives within the designated territory.
• Conduct in-office visits, product demonstrations, merchandising assistance, and staff training to enhance brand visibility and effectiveness.
• Promote the adoption of products in targeted optometry accounts such as dry eye specialty clinics, independent optometrists, multi-location practices, and optical retail establishments.
• Implement sales strategies at the practice level to increase recommendations for iVIZIA® dry eye products and boost patient purchases at retail locations.
• Establish buy-and-bill opportunities within healthcare offices.
• Cultivate robust, consultative relationships with optometrists, technicians, office managers, and retail optical personnel.
• Provide product demonstrations, clinical education, and training for patient recommendations.
• Assist in optimizing in-office dry eye workflows, covering diagnosis, recommendations, retail placement, and patient handoffs.
• Represent the company at local society gatherings, customer events, and educational programs at the territory level.
• Oversee territory routing, call planning, frequency, and segmentation to maximize reach and effectiveness.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activities within the territory to uncover new opportunities.
• Maintain precise CRM documentation, including call notes, sampling logs, and customer data.
• Monitor and assist with in-office inventory, point-of-sale materials, and merchandising execution.
• Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Manager to align on objectives, strategies, and growth initiatives.
• Provide actionable feedback from customers to marketing, sales leadership, and medical teams.
• Support national campaigns, sampling initiatives, pilot programs, and conference activities as assigned.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, promotional guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Manage the territory budget responsibly, encompassing travel expenses, samples, and promotional materials.
• Engage in team training, national meetings, and continuous skills development sessions.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience will be considered.
• Over 2 years of sales experience in OTC consumer health, pharmaceuticals, buy-and-bill, or medical devices preferred.
• Experience in eyecare is strongly preferred.
• A strong understanding of optometric practice operations and patient recommendation behaviors is highly valued.
• Proven track record of success in territory management, building customer relationships, and driving sales results.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
