This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Meet and surpass sales objectives, activity benchmarks, and distribution goals within the territory.
• Perform in-office visits, provide product detailing, merchandising assistance, and staff training to enhance brand awareness and performance.
• Promote product adoption in specified optometry accounts such as dry eye specialty clinics, independent optometrists, multi-location practices, and optical retailers.
• Implement selling strategies at the practice level to increase recommendations and patient purchases of iVIZIA® dry eye products at retail locations.
• Create buy and bill opportunities within clinics.
• Develop robust, consultative relationships with optometrists, technicians, office managers, and optical retail staff.
• Conduct product demonstrations, provide clinical education, and train on patient recommendations.
• Assist in optimizing in-office dry eye workflows, including diagnosis, recommendations, retail placements, and patient handoffs.
• Represent the company at local society meetings, customer events, and educational programs at the territory level.
• Manage territory routing, call planning, frequency, and segmentation to optimize outreach and effectiveness.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activities within the territory to identify new opportunities.
• Maintain thorough CRM documentation, call notes, sampling logs, and customer information.
• Oversee and support in-office inventory, point-of-sale materials, and merchandising execution.
• Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Manager to align on priorities, tactics, and growth initiatives.
• Provide actionable feedback from the “voice of the customer” to marketing, sales leadership, and medical teams.
• Assist with national campaigns, sampling programs, pilot initiatives, and conference activities as required.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, promotional guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Manage the territory budget judiciously, including travel, samples, and promotional materials.
• Engage in team training, national meetings, and ongoing skills development sessions.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
• A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in OTC consumer health, pharmaceuticals, buy and bill, or medical devices is preferred.
• Experience in eyecare is strongly preferred.
• A solid understanding of optometric practice operations and patient recommendation behaviors is highly valued.
• Proven success in territory management, building customer relationships, and achieving sales results.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory.
• A self-starter with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
