This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Expand the designated geographical area by assessing, planning, and improving the distribution of the full array of STIHL products through both existing and new dealers.
• Meet established goals and initiatives.
• Ensure that dealers adhere to STIHL policies.
• Serve as a point of contact between dealers, the branch, and corporate offices.
• Enhance STIHL sales by evaluating market conditions, the competitive landscape, and current dealers.
• Develop strategies and promotions to boost distribution and profitability, which includes booking and sales to dealers.
• Engage with and visit dealers to implement national and regional promotions, Point of Purchase displays, merchandising, and branch programs.
• Provide training for new and existing dealers on essential STIHL programs.
• Organize and lead STIHL University training sessions for larger groups.
• Initiate the development of new dealers and ensure effective store setup and initial training.
• Participate in and represent STIHL at regional trade shows and dealer events.
• Support designated initiatives such as BER, EDGE, and New Dealer programs.
• Collaborate with dealers to create business/action plans that evaluate performance and set future objectives.
• Maintain CRM reporting, monthly field reports, and territory intelligence reports.
• Handle dealer administrative tasks, including responding to emails, follow-ups, scheduling, maintaining Outlook calendars, and managing the STIHL website system.
• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is necessary.
• Proficient computer skills, including mastery of MS Office and web-based applications.
• Ability to demonstrate effective time management skills.
• Willingness to undertake extended overnight travel.
• Strong presentation capabilities.
• Commitment to enhancing skills through continuing education and training opportunities.
• Self-motivated and capable of performing effectively with minimal supervision.
• Experience with outdoor power equipment is preferred.
