• Meet the sales targets and surgical case mix criteria for the designated territory.
• Generate new business through competitive sales strategies while nurturing existing customer relationships across multiple tiers.
• Oversee surgical case coverage, offering guidance to surgeons and their teams before, during, and after procedures.
• Comprehend and adhere to the stipulations outlined in local contracts, maximizing opportunities to enhance account penetration.
• Promote the clinical and economic advantages of PolyNovo and Novosorb technologies.
• Stay informed and responsive to market dynamics, including local market intelligence, national competitor campaigns, and insights from Definitive Health data.
• Maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with up-to-date information on cases, pipeline account updates, surgeon meetings and communications, account status and updates, along with timely completion of all self-assigned and assigned tasks (mostly daily, with some dictated by activity).
• Lead and oversee the VAC process for new accounts.
• Organize hospital in-services with operating room (OR) teams and post-operative care units.
• Manage the assigned budget efficiently.
• Engage corporate resources effectively to meet set objectives.
• Ensure efficient planning, deployment, and management of assets.
• Provide market insights and feedback to the Quality, Regulatory, and R&D teams through case report surveys.
• Participate in regional and national trade shows as needed.
• Coordinate local journal clubs, grand rounds, and peer-to-peer events as specified in the employee's business plan.
• Complete all administrative tasks promptly and as required, including expense reports, inventory reporting (both trunk stock and consignment), forecasting, etc.
• Process all orders efficiently, managing both bill-only and consignment accounts.
• Conduct post-market surveillance customer surveys following surgical procedures and dressing changes.
• Review the Zoho CRM dashboard to ensure all orders are documented and analyze sales results.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business and/or BMedSci/BSc (Life Sciences).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical device sales position (preferably in Operating Room sales).
• A solid scientific understanding of biotechnology.
• Capability to provide technical and sales training and support to new hires.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Proficient in using a personal computer, particularly skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated accountability for the quality and timeliness of work outputs.
• High level of experience working independently and within a very small team setting.
• Strong proactive problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven track record in maintaining thorough reporting, documentation, and organization.
• Experience in selling within the complex acute wound market is highly preferred.
