This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Act as the primary relationship manager for designated independent agencies.
• Cultivate trusted partnerships with agency owners, producers, and essential staff.
• Conduct regular visits and business reviews with agencies to enhance engagement and pinpoint growth opportunities.
• Advocate for MMG products, capabilities, and strategic initiatives within the assigned agencies.
• Create and implement territory and agency business plans aimed at achieving profitable growth targets.
• Boost written premium and policy count through efficient agency management and prospecting efforts.
• Identify avenues to broaden market share within current agencies and recruit qualified new agency partners.
• Encourage agency adoption of MMG products, programs, and digital capabilities.
• Monitor agency production, retention, profitability, and submission activities.
• Analyze performance trends and formulate action plans to enhance outcomes.
• Collaborate with agency leadership to set measurable growth objectives and accountability.
• Provide recommendations on agency appointments, growth strategies, and distribution optimization.
• Work closely with underwriting teams to enhance quote conversion, support new business opportunities, and ensure profitable portfolio expansion.
• Share market intelligence, competitive insights, agency feedback, and emerging trends with company leadership.
• Collaborate with Claims, Customer Service, Underwriting, and Product teams to improve agency experiences and business outcomes.
• Deliver training and presentations on MMG products, appetite, systems, and strategic initiatives.
• Represent MMG at agency meetings, industry events, and association functions.
• Serve as an informed resource and advocate for agency partners.
• Over 5 years of experience in property and casualty insurance, agency management, underwriting, business development, marketing, or sales.
• Strong understanding of independent agency distribution.
• Proven ability to cultivate and sustain successful business relationships.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Demonstrated analytical and business planning skills.
• Capability to work autonomously and manage a geographic territory.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Pennsylvania.
• Experience with an insurance carrier or independent agency.
• Expertise in Commercial Lines and/or Personal Lines.
• Established connections within the Pennsylvania insurance marketplace.
• CPCU, CIC, ARM, AU, or a comparable professional designation.
