This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Actively seek out and foster new business prospects through strategic engagement with EPs, cardiologists, and healthcare administrators in hospitals, IDNs, and private practices.
• Formulate and implement a territory growth strategy focusing on market penetration, product adoption, and long-term client value.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and needs assessment to contract finalization and onboarding.
• Present impactful, data-driven sales pitches that clearly articulate the clinical and economic advantages of the Zio platform.
• Build and strengthen relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), physicians, and executive stakeholders to create advocates and sustain long-term support.
• Navigate intricate healthcare settings to foster strategic partnerships and convert accounts.
• Create and sustain a comprehensive sales pipeline utilizing Salesforce.com to guarantee precise forecasting, territory planning, and timely reporting.
• Oversee the continuous performance and operational health of accounts, including training, inventory management, workflow enhancement, and usage expansion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as KAMs, CX, FSRs, Payer Relations, Billing, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure a seamless customer journey.
• Regularly evaluate territory performance, market trends, and competitive actions to refine strategies and pinpoint opportunities for differentiation.
• Provide continual feedback to leadership regarding territory dynamics, customer requirements, and market changes.
• Consistently achieve or surpass quarterly and annual sales objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, with at least 3 years in medical device or healthcare technology sales.
• Strong preference for candidates with a background in cardiology, electrophysiology, and integrated delivery networks (IDNs).
• Proven track record in capturing market share, launching new territories/products, or displacing competitors through value-based selling.
• Demonstrated capacity to develop and execute strategic sales plans in complex environments.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with robust business acumen, adaptability, and resilience.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com or comparable CRM systems is preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory (approximately 4.5 days per week in the field, with occasional evenings and overnight travel as needed).
