This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Create a strategy to enhance the company's brand presence within the designated territory.
• Secure dealer commitments and process orders.
• Conduct scheduled dealer visits and document discussions and outcomes in the CRM system.
• Showcase equipment and offer product application training; must be able to lift 40-50 lbs to demonstrate and set up at trade shows.
• Support the effectiveness of sales, marketing, and promotional initiatives.
• Introduce dealers to the most recent selling strategies.
• Monitor dealer inventory levels and initiate business adjustments as necessary.
• Represent Husqvarna at trade, industry, and dealer exhibitions.
• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
• At least 3-5 years of proven success in a sales environment.
• Reside in a location within the assigned territory that the company identifies as optimal for serving our customers.
• Previous sales experience in sectors that have experienced significant growth and high sales volumes, such as appliances, agricultural equipment, power tools, electronics, consumer durables, construction equipment, and/or power sports, is preferred.
• Prior experience in dealer/distributor sales is preferred.
• A demonstrated record of successful sales performance with strong negotiation abilities.
• Proven capability to independently resolve issues and translate expert knowledge into practical solutions to maintain successful dealer and customer relationships.
• A solid understanding of market positioning from both financial and product perspectives.
• Knowledge and/or enthusiasm for learning extensively about outdoor power equipment and the industry to effectively represent the Husqvarna brand and products to dealers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate high-quality working relationships both internally and externally.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, demonstrating the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently in a dynamic work environment.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), along with the ability to learn and master other internal programs that track sales and customer relations.
