This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• New Business Prospecting: You will be actively visiting local cattle auctions, engaging with associations such as Livestock, Cattleman's, and Stockman's, and developing a robust business pipeline through outbound lead generation initiatives. Timely management of inbound leads is essential, along with prioritizing administrative tasks alongside your field activities.

• Field Sales Engagement: You are comfortable getting your hands dirty and have a preference for discussing Halter over coffee at a kitchen table, in the saddle, or while riding a side-by-side in a pasture. You spend time on ranches assisting potential customers before highlighting the value of Halter, even delivering coffee during calving season. You appreciate the special moments that create significant impacts for our customers.

• Opportunity Expansion: You are constantly on the lookout for new prospects, including enhancing relationships with existing Halter customers. You believe in the importance of growing connections and discovering innovative ways to add value over time. Recognizing that not every rancher will collar all of their cows presents a unique opportunity for you to achieve your objectives.

• Achieving Sales Goals: High-growth sales targets motivate you; you rise to challenges and aim for ambitious outcomes. You are skilled in managing your pipeline and are confident in your ability to disqualify leads when necessary. You can handle current deals while maintaining a forward-looking perspective.

• Customer Account Management: To you, relationship building extends beyond the initial sale. Post-sale, you strive to maintain strong ties with customers to ensure their ongoing satisfaction, provide support, and address any product-related challenges they may encounter. You will facilitate a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and deployment of Halter, helping customers maximize the value of our solutions.

• Territorial Responsibility: You possess a strong sense of ownership and take pride in your accomplishments. Managing an entire territory means you give attention to every aspect and ensure no opportunity is overlooked. You enjoy representing your territory, engaging with key stakeholders from various local, state, and federal agencies to foster lasting relationships within regional agricultural groups.

• Customer Onboarding Experience: Your commitment to ownership extends beyond the sale. You ensure your customers receive the best onboarding experience possible. You are responsible for the comprehensive customer experience throughout the onboarding and deployment of Halter’s products, guaranteeing a smooth transition from sales to implementation, even when customers are handed off to other teams within Halter.

• Field Insights & Customer Feedback: You understand that feedback is crucial not only for the companies you work with but also as part of your approach to managing your territory. As the primary contact for gathering customer feedback in your area, you work diligently to advocate for your customers' needs.

• Collaboration with Support Teams: You are a natural collaborator, proactively seeking out partners across Halter to swiftly address any issues your customers face. You escalate problems when necessary and ensure that customers in your territory feel fully supported.

• Participation in Industry Events: You take advantage of relevant industry and Halter events to generate leads and strengthen connections with existing customers. Your participation in demonstrations and networking will help expand Halter’s market influence.

• Contribution to US Sales Strategy: You are a firm believer in the power of teamwork. You aim to collaborate with the broader team to refine and enhance the sales process to better suit the US market. As we scale, your contributions will be vital in driving greater efficiencies.

• Experience in Ranching / Cattle Operations: You are knowledgeable about ranching and cattle operations, recognizing the unique challenges of the industry. This expertise enables you to connect meaningfully with customers regarding their most pressing concerns.

• Expertise in Sales & Customer Success: You have a proven track record of generating new business opportunities, engaging in value-based sales discussions, and fostering long-lasting customer relationships. You focus on building relationships rather than transactional sales, aiming for enduring success stories and expanding existing relationships through upselling opportunities.

• Territory Management Experience: You have a background in managing a large territory with a balanced emphasis on both sales and customer success, preferably within agriculture or technology.

• Problem-Solving & Collaborative Skills: You are resourceful and quick-thinking, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and drive innovative solutions.

• Willingness to Travel: You are prepared to travel frequently within your territory to engage with customers and prospects.
