This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Manage designated accounts and clients in France.

• Deliver relevant updates on critical medical and technical information to clients, including doctors, pharmacists, and nursing personnel.

• Participate in marketing and promotional initiatives in accordance with the national marketing strategy and under the supervision of the Sales Manager/Country Manager.

• Supervise all marketing and promotional activities related to BioMarin’s products within the assigned area.

• Collaborate with distributors and company headquarters to onboard new clients into the ordering system.

• Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with customers.

• Offer professional representation at medical meetings and conferences.

• Provide training programs on diseases/products as needed for local medical teams.

• Assist in establishing post-marketing surveillance studies as necessary (e.g., identifying potential sites).

• Report any potential safety information within the timelines specified in the relevant SOPs to BioMarin Drug Safety, adhering to local and EMEA requirements.

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Sales Manager.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or life sciences, or equivalent education in pharmaceutical sales.

• Background in sciences and/or medical fields.

• Experience in commercial and marketing roles within the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology sectors.

• Extensive industry experience, preferably in orphan diseases.

• Proficient in English and possess effective communication skills in the local language.

• Competent in using PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

• Knowledge of basic regulatory requirements, particularly regarding sales and marketing activities, as well as pharmacovigilance.

• Good understanding of healthcare systems, including financing and public health policy.

• Flexible, dedicated, with the ability to identify customers’ needs and maintain open communication.

• Commercially and customer-oriented mindset.

• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the working time.
