This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Engage with targeted, current, and potential customers to drive sales, enhance market presence, and boost revenue for MWI.
• Leverage computer tools as a sales resource, demonstrating proficiency in MWI email, promotions in Outlook, and the MWI Territory Manager website.
• Strive to comprehend the requirements of veterinarians and clinics, selecting suitable products and services to meet those needs.
• Build strong relationships with veterinarians and clinics.
• Analyze sales data and top supplier reports to inform pre and post-call strategies.
• Develop and maintain a written call schedule that reflects changes in territory.
• Share relevant information with ISR and Regional Manager, including account number, name, location, and day of the week.
• Stay informed about the complete range of products and services provided by MWI.
• Exhibit proficiency in MWI sales programs, promotions, and product offerings.
• Create account profiles for customers within your territory.
• Respond promptly to communications from customers, MWI team members, and manufacturer representatives.
• Detail and/or showcase new products and promotions to customers.
• Ensure timely submission of reports.
• Achieve sales targets and budget figures by territory and manufacturer.
• Serve as a resource for customers on business-related matters such as inventory management, equipment, and products.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers in most interactions with the company; collaborate with MWI internal staff to address customer concerns.
• Keep the vehicle in a professional condition.
• Work closely with key vendors and Product Specialists.
• Maintain sufficient support materials and detail aids in the vehicle.
• Adhere to additional requests from MWI Regional Managers and leadership.
• Participate in conference calls and meetings as needed.
• A bachelor’s degree or a comparable mix of experience and education is required.
• One to three years of relevant industry or sales experience, preferably in animal health, is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills, along with a proven sales ability, are essential.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
