• Gain an understanding of the overall landscape of the Life Science and/or Non-Life Science (Specialty Chemical, Food, etc.) sectors.
• Recognize mid-market accounts within your territory that could benefit from our offerings.
• Exhibit HUNTER capabilities in account planning, prospecting, lead qualification, and the development of new business opportunities.
• Comprehend your accounts' critical business opportunities and challenges in relation to our solutions.
• Identify key decision-makers and cultivate robust relationships within your client portfolio.
• Design and deliver sales presentations that assist clients in grasping the business and economic value of our solutions.
• Build and maintain a substantial sales pipeline.
• Oversee the software sales cycle from identifying opportunities to finalizing contracts.
• Negotiate intricate software and service agreements.
• Prepare precise sales forecasts and report on the sales cycle.
• Capable of preparing, organizing, and directing pre-sales and consulting resources.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in selling enterprise software to enterprise accounts.
• At least 5 years of experience selling to both business users and IT departments.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Basic knowledge of the Life Science Industry is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with business intelligence or analytics is desired but not essential.
• Demonstrated success in business development and the ability to manage complex enterprise sales cycles.
• A proven history of consistently surpassing sales quotas.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Capability to present solutions from a business benefits perspective.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Prior training in sales methodologies with strong customer references.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the US.
