This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Accountable for representing our product to a customer base, driving sales growth, and consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets within a designated geographic area in a professional, compliant, ethical, and effective manner.
• Leverage a comprehensive understanding of disease states, relevant competitor offerings, and the specific challenges and opportunities unique to each geography to customize interactions with particular customers.
• Serve as a resource for healthcare professionals and patients as they navigate access and reimbursement processes and the distribution channel.
• Utilize networks and relationships to strengthen partnerships by facilitating direct contact opportunities between key customers and home office personnel.
• Maintain frequent communication with other sales specialists nationwide and cross-functional teams to align on business strategies, focus on strategic drivers, and share best practices.
• Exhibit mastery of and adherence to all applicable compliance laws, policies, and procedures, ensuring that the actions of oneself and the team are fully compliant.
• Fulfill all other job-related responsibilities as dictated by business requirements.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. A preference for 3 years in specialty or orphan disease product sales.
• Preferred 3+ years of experience in Cardiology, Pulmonary, or rare disease sales.
• Experience with PAH/HCP relationships is advantageous.
• A demonstrated history of success in all aspects of sales, including technical knowledge, sales techniques, data interpretation/analysis, and a thorough understanding of the medical field and pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with high-value and/or orphan disease products in Cardio or Pulmonary therapeutic areas is preferred.
• Launch experience is highly preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building abilities, along with strong influencing and negotiating skills.
