This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with both new and existing distributors and customers to enhance revenue growth and improve profit margins.
• Assist distributors in recognizing and seizing new sales opportunities within their designated territories.
• Aid distributors and customers in selecting the most appropriate products for their specific applications.
• Present Fenner’s product offerings to consulting firms and potential clientele.
• Establish and nurture connections with other sales professionals to synchronize opportunities and achieve collective business objectives.
• Facilitate contract negotiations, encompassing new and existing agreements, pricing structures, and sales quotes.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations to both prospective and current customers.
• Engage in networking events and local trade associations to enhance company visibility and forge new relationships.
• Contribute insights to the annual sales budget by evaluating customer potential and projecting realistic, achievable targets.
• Monitor and assess distributor performance to guarantee alignment with company standards and goals.
• Compile and submit precise weekly, monthly, and semi-annual sales reports detailing activities and progress.
• Complete and submit all necessary documentation, including requisition forms, in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain acceptable profit margins on all products and services.
• Conduct conveyor surveys and inspections as necessary to support the needs of customers and distributors.
• Collaborate with internal departments, including the technical team, to meet customer requirements and ensure service excellence.
• When necessary, assist the finance department in addressing past due invoice issues.
• Travel to customer/distributor locations as needed, including overnight travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
• Exhibit professional conduct during working hours, while on customer/distributor sites, and while traveling for Fenner Dunlop business.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least five years of sales experience in an industrial environment, demonstrating a track record of success.
• Familiarity with the mining market is regarded as a significant advantage.
• Proven capability to effectively sell value-added products and solutions.
• Proficiency in both English and French, in written and spoken forms.
