This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete bidding process for Grid Automation, encompassing the evaluation of client requests and the submission of proposals.
• Assess customer requirements and RFQs to identify and present products, services, and solutions from the DS Agile, G500, GPG, AAA, Cyber Security, MiCOM, and Multilin portfolios.
• Package bids that include Telecom and M&D scopes when necessary.
• Ensure compliance of offers with technical specifications and tender requirements.
• Recognize and highlight key risks, ensuring that mitigation plans are documented.
• Manage and implement Return of Experience (ROE).
• Align proposals with both commercial and execution strategies.
• Secure technical derogations and approvals as required.
• Conduct site assessments for brownfield and existing substations.
• Maintain typical circuit designs, schemes, and solutions within the tendering tool.
• Ensure that technical and commercial offers adhere to schedules and meet quality standards.
• Review and address technical bid clarifications while presenting solutions to clients.
• Assist with order bookings, budget margins, and the Operations turnover process.
• Support Sales during commercial and technical meetings and negotiations with customers.
• Manage bidding phases in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
• Facilitate internal tender reviews with stakeholders in line with tender due dates.
• Conduct transfer meetings and hand over essential documents to Operations.
• Analyze tendering hit rates and evaluate submission and win rates.
• Prepare and analyze costs and pricing effectively.
• Acquire formal third-party product/system quotes and update the tendering tool accordingly.
• Ensure accurate costing within the estimation tool.
• Optimize costs related to products, solutions, and delivery while assessing risks.
• Perform commercial and technical win/loss analyses of bids.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, ideally in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in tendering, commercial, engineering, or related functions.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of grid automation, protection, and DCS/SCS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 10–15% of the time, as business needs dictate.
• Familiarity with Telecom and M&D will be advantageous.
• Understanding of MENAT customer requirements and specifications.
• Comfortable working in hybrid conditions.
• Knowledge of commercial contracting guidelines.
• Proactive demeanor with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
