Temporary Portal Account Request Processor – EMR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Precisely input data into the EMR system and additional databases

• Ensure the accuracy of data before and after the entry process

• Assist in data cleanup and validation efforts

• Maintain and update records consistently

• Collaborate with team members to address data discrepancies

• Safeguard the confidentiality and security of sensitive information

• Stay informed about portal enhancements, changes, and policies

• Process requests for portal account tickets

• Confirm contact information for members and their families

• Activate portal accounts

• Utilize phone, email, chat, and remote access tools to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues

• Carry out additional duties as required or assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent is required

• A minimum of one year of data entry experience is preferred

• At least one year of experience with EMR systems and/or databases is preferred

• Familiarity with I/DD provider agencies, OPWDD, or Health Homes is preferred

• Customer service or help desk experience is preferred

• Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail

• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, phone, writing, and word-processing abilities

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and privileged information

• Strong computer skills

• Proficiency in web-based applications and remote access tools

• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and manage substantial volumes of information

• Knowledge of Health Home and OPWDD/IDD terminology, HIT regulations and security standards, and HIPAA is advantageous
