Temporary API 510/570 Inspector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Conduct visual and non-destructive assessments of static and dynamic pressure-retaining equipment in accordance with API and ASME standards.

• Prepare technically precise reports that detail the condition of the equipment.

• Offer technical advice regarding the repair, re-rating, replacement, and modification of plant equipment.

• Provide technical insights related to welding and metallurgical concerns.

• Deliver technical guidance on non-destructive examination methods and protocols.

• Adhere to Acuren and client safety work practices.

• Engage in site safety programs and initiatives.

• Travel as required for customer turnaround, outages, and project assignments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification in American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570.

• 5–10 years of experience, or a minimum of 2 years of on-site experience.

• Comprehensive understanding of API 510/570 and ASME standards.

• Proven experience in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers.

• Additional API 653 or CWI certification is advantageous.

• Openness to travel as necessary.
