TEM Installation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the installation of electron microscopes at client sites across EMEA by assisting in the preparation phases of your upcoming assignments.

• Carry out the installation and configuration of our sold equipment from the moment of move-in until customer acceptance.

• Collaborate with third-party contractors to ensure a seamless installation process.

• Provide our customers with the best possible installation experience on their newly acquired equipment through effective communication and strong technical skills.

• Partner with customers to identify their unique needs and requirements.

• Build and nurture positive working relationships with Thermofisher Scientific colleagues and customers, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

• Offer and seek technical support and guidance during the installation and operational phases in collaboration with colleagues and supporting departments.

• Achieve customer satisfaction by delivering outstanding service and addressing any issues that arise.

• Accurately and promptly document your activities.

• Record the work performed and adhere to standard operating procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in installing high-end equipment or a related field (knowledge of Electron Microscopes and/or vacuum technology is advantageous).

• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in mechatronics, mechanical/electrical/electronic engineering, or a comparable engineering discipline.

• A strong desire to learn and expedite your installation career.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• An eager and rapid learner with a proactive and hands-on approach.

• Highly motivated to achieve set objectives and embrace challenges.

• Capability to obtain a valid passport and travel frequently as needed, up to 80% of the time.

• Must possess a valid driver's license.

• Proficient in IT skills within Microsoft Windows and Office environments.

• Good command of the English language in both spoken and written forms.
