This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Deliver outstanding virtual healthcare, encompassing patient evaluations, reviews of medical histories, and suitable medical treatments.
• Provide empathetic, patient-focused care, fostering strong therapeutic relationships between doctors and patients.
• Order and analyze laboratory tests as necessary to support informed, high-quality treatment choices.
• Prescribe medications and offer expert advice on their appropriate usage (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, with the exception of buprenorphine for the treatment of opioid addiction).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, seasoned nurses, and a committed support team to guarantee comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure proper medical documentation is maintained to facilitate continuity of care.
• Keep abreast of advancements in medicine, innovations in telehealth, and best practices.
• Hold an active medical license in at least five U.S. states (preferably including three or more of the following: CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX), along with a willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance and costs covered).
• Have experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person environments.
• Ability to schedule and work a minimum of 15 core hours per week (8AM-6PM locally), across four days each week, with scheduling done at least one week in advance.
• Possess strong communication skills and a dedication to medical excellence.
• Be comfortable using telemedicine platforms and electronic medical records (training will be provided).
• Exhibit a passion for improving access to healthcare and making a significant impact.
• Hold at least one DEA certification and any applicable CSL (if required).
• Enjoy complete schedule flexibility—work from any location, on your own terms.
