This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Conduct patient consultations through secure video conferencing.
• Create customized treatment plans for conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, and binge eating disorders.
• Prescribe and manage medications while providing comprehensive patient education about side effects and interactions.
• Monitor patient progress with regular follow-ups and modify care plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records, addressing prescription refills and inquiries efficiently.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure integrated and high-quality care.
• Uphold full compliance with HIPAA regulations and stay updated on telemedicine laws and employment regulations.
• Promptly report quality issues and participate in mandatory training to remain informed about the latest advancements in mental health.
• At least 3 years of experience in mental health, or a minimum of 5 years in primary care, focusing on ADHD, anxiety, depression, and binge eating in both adult and pediatric populations.
• Proficient in using DSM-5 and various assessment tools (such as GAD-7, PHQ-9, etc.).
• Skilled in EHR systems with a strong grasp of state-specific telemedicine regulations.
• A compassionate communicator with high emotional intelligence, committed to making care accessible to diverse communities.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced and evolving telehealth setting.
• Graduate of an accredited U.S. medical school or a foreign medical school with ECFMG certification.
• Required qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Psychiatry.
• Board certified (or board eligible, where applicable).
• Possess a current, unrestricted state medical license.
• Hold an active DEA license and any necessary state controlled substance licenses.
