This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Conduct patient consultations through secure video conferencing.
• Create customized treatment plans for conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, and binge eating disorders.
• Prescribe and oversee medication management.
• Inform patients about potential medication side effects and interactions.
• Monitor patient progress with regular follow-up appointments.
• Modify care plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Promptly handle prescription refills and inquiries.
• Collaborate with other providers to ensure comprehensive and high-quality care.
• Adhere to HIPAA standards and comply with telemedicine regulations and employment laws.
• Report quality concerns without delay.
• Participate in mandatory training on advancements in mental health.
• Must be licensed to practice in Missouri.
• Hold a valid DEA license in Missouri along with any applicable state-controlled substance licenses.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• At least 3+ years of experience in mental health with a focus on ADHD, anxiety, depression, and binge eating in both adult and pediatric populations, or a minimum of 5+ years in primary care.
• Proficient in the use of DSM-5 and assessment tools like GAD-7 and PHQ-9.
• Skilled in utilizing EHR systems.
• Strong knowledge of state-specific telemedicine regulations.
• Possess compassionate, high emotional intelligence communication abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic telehealth setting.
• Graduate of an accredited U.S. medical school or a foreign medical school with ECFMG certification.
• MD or DO degree required.
• Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Psychiatry.
• Board certified or board eligible, if applicable.
• Maintain a current, unrestricted state medical license.
• Work in a private, secure, sterile environment that is free from external noise.
• Reliable internet connection is a must.
• Desktop computer, laptop, and/or tablet required for video consultations.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and possess the manual dexterity needed to operate a computer.
• Strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and Mentavi Health privacy policies.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
