Telemedicine Internal/Family Medicine MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and create tailored treatment strategies through video consultations.

• Work alongside a multidisciplinary care team to ensure the highest level of service delivery.

• Fulfill necessary training requirements and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Inform patients about preventive healthcare and wellness through evidence-based methodologies.

• Keep precise and current patient records while ensuring timely completion of charting.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative communications with clarity and empathy.

• Commit to at least 10 hours a week of direct patient interaction, including consultations and medical guidance, with the option to prescribe as clinically appropriate.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.

• Board Certification: Active national board certification in Internal or Family Medicine.

• Experience: At least 2 years of continuous clinical experience as an Internal or Family Medicine Physician, particularly focused on women’s health issues (refer to Primary Clinical Focus).

• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic acumen and critical thinking abilities.

• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing compassion and clarity.

• Webside Manner: An innate ability to build trust and rapport with patients in a digital environment.

• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere dedication to providing care grounded in the latest clinical research.

• Technical Proficiency: Adept at using various platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.

• Telemedicine Experience: Previous experience in telehealth is an advantage.

• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: Possession of an active, unrestricted professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
